Sept. 6-12: Visit Jones Orchard in Millington, Tenn., to pick apples, pears or one of their 25 varieties of peaches. The family-owned farm is located north of Memphis at 6824 Big Creek Church Road. On the way home, stop by their Market and Kitchen at 7170 Highway 51 North for a hearty meal and to stock up on homemade jam and pies.
