Dear Hungry Unionite,
My sister and her husband had the chance to go to India Fest in Memphis about a week ago – they had so much fun!
I sent my camera with her to get some shots of the food (would you expect any less of me?) but she went above and beyond my instructions, as she also took pictures of the festivities.
They served food items such as spicy chicken kabobs, obattu and gobi parathas. Thinking about the various other festivals that take place in Memphis – the Israel Festival, the Greek Festival, etc. – I can only imagine what wonderful foods are served there as well. Road trip!
