The men’s and women’s basketball teams will welcome the University of West Florida Argonauts to the Fred DeLay Gymnasium on Saturday, February 14th.
The women’s game is set for 2 p.m. CT while the men’s game will follow at 4 p.m. CT.
Earlier this season, the men defeated UWF in Pensacola, Fla. (82-79) while the Lady Bulldogs suffered a loss (61-78).
Saturday’s game is one of Union’s two final home games for the regular season.
Union’s baseball and softball teams will be on the road this weekend in Cleveland, Tennessee as they take on Lee University for their first conference games of the season.
Both teams will play a double-header against Lee on Saturday, February 13th at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Lee Driggers, head baseball coach for the Bulldogs, said he and his team are looking forward to opening their conference schedule against a tough Lee University program.
“We are looking to find some consistency on the mound and hopefully score a few more runs,” said Driggers.
Before he joined as the head coach in summer of 2014, Driggers spent two seasons coaching at East Texas Baptist University.
